The Tycho Brahe-museum
Tycho Brahe was the Danish scientist who during the renaissance sat the island of Ven on to the
world map.
On Ven Tycho built one of Europe's first and finest research institutions to the use of
Empirical research. The institution included among other things, the spectacular castle Uraniborg,
the underground observatory Stjerneborg and a fantastic renaissance garden.
Today a top modern museum tells the story of Tycho Brahe.
